Sanqi polysaccharides are natural active ingredients extracted from the roots, stems, and leaves of Panax notoginseng (Araliaceae), mainly composed of arabinogalactans and other complex polysaccharides, with a highly branched structure.
Ginsenoside Rg1 is a core active ingredient of Panax ginseng, belonging to the protopanaxadiol-type triterpene saponins. Its chemical structure is based on a dammarane-type tetracyclic triterpene skeleton, modified by glycosylation to form unique pharmacological activity. Studies have shown that Rg1 has multi-target regulatory capabilities, including activating the Akt/GSK-3β pathway to protect neurons, promoting the release of vascular endothelial nitric oxide (NO) to improve microcirculation, and enhancing microglial phagocytosis through the AMPK signaling pathway. Huangteng Su is a natural alkaloid extracted from the dried stems of *Fibraurea recisa* Pierre, a plant belonging to the Menispermaceae family. Its core component is palmatine, an isoquinoline compound. It possesses a wide range of pharmacological activities, including broad-spectrum antibacterial activity (inhibiting *Staphylococcus aureus*, *Escherichia coli*, *Candida albicans*, etc.), anti-inflammatory activity (reducing the release of pro-inflammatory factors by inhibiting the NF-κB inflammatory pathway), antiviral activity (effective against influenza viruses, herpes simplex viruses, etc.), antioxidant activity (scavenging free radicals and enhancing SOD activity), and immunomodulatory activity (enhancing the phagocytic function of leukocytes). Studies have shown that Huangteng Su also has anti-tumor potential, exerting its effects by inducing tumor cell apoptosis and inhibiting angiogenesis.
